Today started at 1am.  Youngest daughter is on a psoriasis flair up and was up doing her scratching thing at 1am.  2hrs later and my little princess is still wide awake and enjoying her Mum time just a little to much.  Bribery of just come to bed with me worked and I eventually got to sleep just before 4am.   I guess I should have realised that it wasn't oing to be the best of days.

 

I had the dentist this morning.  Patient before me was an emergency.  I had arrived on time and was told she wouldnt be long.  I figured something was wrong when another dentist was called in.  Receptionist eventually comes over and explains she's doing an extraction that wont come out and it had turned into a surgical procedure.  I was offered another dentist but since it was a review there was no point.  Weirdly the other dentist, who was on his lunch bless, always avoids looking at me.  I've been going to the same dentist for years so I am well used to seeing him.  In our surgery we all make eye contact and smile.  He doesnt which makes me feel uncomfortable.  Actually I just feel uncomfortable, he looks it lol.  Maybe I knew him & have forgotten?  Who knows..

 

I have now bought all school uniforms and shoes.  £55 on the 3 youngest sons shoes and £32 on 2 pairs of trousers and a cardi for Jennifer.  Bugger I still have 2 school bags and lunch boxes to buy.  Jeez, I'm running out of patience with this new term drama.  I am grateful that I can buy what I want but I do feel sorry for the people  who cant.  I am going to donate last yrs Helly Hansons to work so that some other kids can get the benefit of them but since they dont get to wear the new one's till the start of school that'll have to wait until next week.  Our weather is more thunderous rain than anything else currently so the jackets are being well used.

 

A bit of a waste of a day today.  I had more than my fair share of rota chores this morning.  It was a stroke of luck I had the sitting-room since It was cleaned and cleared yesterday (looks like a tip again tho).  I think maybe I should put cooking duty onto rota.  Somedays it looks like all I do is washing/ironing and tiolet/bathroom duty when I always do that cooking thingy.  I'm sure i have table duty today as well today.  Goodness, I compile the blooming rota and still I seem to end up with more than anyone else.  Ok, fair point if your brain is saying ah but your Mum, so's my brain but I can pout if I want.

 

Better go do the dinner thingy.  I have been told to stop washing my salad leaves.  I am thinking about washing them and using the hairdryer on them.  I know they are pre washed but yuk!  That's like not washing your hands when you go to the toilet cos you done it last time yuk!!!  O and why is it in health centres you have to wash your hands and then touch a door handle.  Thats make the assumtion everyone who is leaving has washed there hands.  I dont think so.  I want to the tiolet after sitting in the dentist for an hour and was struck by that thought after washing my hands.  I used a paper towel to open the door.  I thought that was smart given they dont have hand wash at the entrance.  Bit silly that.  I'm either obsessed with going to the toilet or hand washing,.
